Mango Margarita

This mango margarita is bright, refreshing, and made with tequila, fresh lime juice, and mango syrup for an easy summer cocktail.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Serving glass
  • Knife
  • Plate

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz mango simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz light agave syrup
  • Lime wedges
  • Coarse salt
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, mango simple syrup, and agave syrup. Shake until well chilled.
  • Rub the rim of your glass with a lime wedge. Pour salt onto a plate, then dip the rim of the glass into it.
  • Fill the glass with ice, strain the margarita into the glass.

Notes

• Fresh lime juice gives the best flavor.
• Shake well so the drink gets properly chilled.
• Tajín can be used instead of salt for extra flavor.
• Blend with ice for a frozen version.
• Adjust agave syrup depending on how sweet you like your margaritas.
