Notes

Can I blend this drink?
Yes. If you’d like to turn it into a Frappuccino-style drink, you can blend it with ice until smooth.
The foam doesn’t seem to be getting very foamy. How can I fix this?
Oat milk froths best when you use the barista-style or extra creamy version. Even then, it will create a light foam. For a thicker, creamier foam, use heavy whipping cream—but note that it won’t be dairy-free. If you want to keep it plant-based, canned coconut cream works well too.
How can I make this sweeter?
For a touch more sweetness without changing the flavor, stir in a tablespoon of brown sugar, granulated sugar, or honey. If you want to boost both the sweetness and the gingerbread flavor, add another ounce of gingerbread syrup directly to your latte.
How can I increase the caffeine?
You can make it a “dirty chai” by adding one or two shots of espresso. Fresh espresso works best, but instant espresso powder dissolved in a couple of tablespoons of hot water is a quick alternative.
