Notes

Could I add extras into the mix?
Yes. If you’d like to add extras like pretzels or pistachios, you can. They’ll add great texture and a little extra crunch.
Where can I find pistachio cream?
Pistachio cream is becoming more common in grocery stores. Look near the peanut butter and other nut butters—it’s often on the top shelf. If you can’t find it locally, you can always order it online.
Is this allergy-friendly?
This recipe isn’t nut-free or dairy-free, but it is gluten-free. You can make it dairy-free by using dairy-free chocolate chips and swapping the butter for coconut oil.
As this is a Dubai chocolate puppy chow, should I add the Kataifi?
Traditionally, Dubai chocolate desserts include Kataifi, but not this one. The Rice Chex replaces the Kataifi, giving the same crisp, crunchy texture that balances the chocolate coating.
