Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Finish by topping with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy.

How do you serve this?

  • In my family, we tend to eat these by themselves, each putting on our favorite toppings. But we are usually on the go a lot and rushing off to the next event. However, when we want to make a meal out of it, I like to add sides of street corn, Green Rice, or refried beans covered in melty cheese.

FAQs (Because Life’s Too Busy for Guesswork)

Could I make these in the air fryer?

Yes, if you would like to make them in the air fryer, assemble as instructed and then place them in the air fryer pan for 3-5 minutes at 360°F.

What is the best way to add heat to the dish?

For adding heat to the dish, you could use hot sauce, jalapenos, or sliced chili peppers. Another option is to stir in a can of hot Rotel to your meat mixture.

How can I make this vegetarian?

If you would like to make it vegetarian, you can remove the meat and replace it with black beans or jackfruit. Still season with the taco seasoning and continue assembling as instructed. They will still be amazing!

What is Naan bread?

Naan bread is an oven-baked flatbread. Popular in Indian and South Asian cooking. It is chewy yet soft in its texture and usually has a slightly charred exterior from the tandoor oven in which it is traditionally baked.

What are substitutions that I can make?

  • Ground beef – Other options include ground chicken or turkey, as well as shredded chicken or beef.
  • Taco seasoning – If you would prefer to use a homemade mix instead of the packet, that is an option. You will need 3 tablespoons of the homemade mix to equal the amount in the packet. You may also need less water.
  • Naan flatbreads – They come in different flavors at times. Pick a flavor you would like or think you would like to try.
  • Taco cheese – Alternative options would be shredded Colby, mozzarella, or cheddar.

How should I store my leftovers?

  • Naan Taco Pizza should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. To reheat, place on a sheet pan and heat in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until thoroughly reheated. I would recommend reheating before adding toppings.
